That was nowhere near a Hamilton style green mamba of the past.

Thought it was an excellent test pitch tbh, just a lot of lose shots from the Indian's and some pretty poor technique on seaming pitches. Nz scoring 348 vs India's second innings of 191 is full proof of that.

Pujara looked horrid, he had no idea against Southee at times.

What a pitch! Impressive to see such a green pitch for Test where the home side are up 1-0 in a 2 Test series. Good to see Wagner back as well. Glad NZ didn't bother with any of their sub-standard spinners when they have so many good quicks including one who can sort of perform a spinner's role of bowling with the old ball and giving you a lot of overs in Wagner.

Probably the least rated of the Indian quicks but Sharma looks like a big out suddenly.
Great effort from Jamieson. Can’t put a price on height when it comes to fast bowling. Great to see someone they can use to replace the main guys

India already one wicket down in their 2nd innings, don't think this be a very long test, will likely be over in 3 or 4 days.
