Free agent LeSean McCoy said he wants to sign with a contender.
McCoy hasn't had any known interest since ending the postseason as a healthy scratch for the Chiefs. He's entering his age-32 season, but McCoy still showed he had something left last year, averaging 4.6 YPC as a semi-regular starter. McCoy may wait until after the draft to sign, but he should resurface as a committee back.

Steelers signed WR Saeed Blacknall, formerly of the XFL.
Blacknall was most recently seen catching passes from Josh Johnson as a member of the Los Angeles Wildcats in the XFL. Per Wikipedia, his nickname is "Megatron, Jr." Look for Blacknall to be on the roster bubble at best come August.

The Seahawks have withdrawn their exclusive rights free agent tender to WR Malik Turner, making him a free agent.
You see restricted free agent tenders withdrawn from time to time, but it is very rare with ERFAs. Turner was set to make just $750,000. He was an ineffective No. 3 option in 2019, making a killer drop in the Divisional Round. The 24-year-old will hit the open market with 17 career grabs for 265 yards and one score.

Miami Herald's Barry Jackson wrote "no team has done more work on" Oregon QB Justin Herbert than the Dolphins over the last two seasons.

Local and national reports have recently linked Herbert to the Dolphins at No. 5 even with Tua Tagovailoa likely available to them at that spot. Herbert is usually lower than Tagovailoa on draft boards, but there's no telling where Tagovailoa will be selected given his medicals, especially with team doctors unable to examine him in-person. It's well within reason that Herbert is selected as the No. 2 quarterback in the class with Joe Burrow going 1st overall to the Bengals. Jackson also reports the Dolphins have visited with RBs J.K. Dobbins, D'Andre Swift, Clyde Edwards-Helaire, and Cam Akers. They are likely Day 2 targets.

The Dallas Morning News reports the Cowboys won't sign free agent Earl Thomas.
This comes a day after HC Mike McCarthy said he had "discussed" signing Thomas after he was released by Baltimore following a fight with a teammate. We expect other teams to pursue Thomas in the coming weeks.

GG.exe ...how did you miss this MASSIVE news? The Walker and Phillips connection rolls on 💗 Hopefully we stash him on the PS if he doesn't make the team.

Panthers signed WR Cam Phillips, formerly of the XFL's Houston Roughnecks.

Phillips was arguably the XFL's unofficial runner-up MVP behind Panthers QB P.J. Walker, who he'll now reunite with in Carolina. The 24-year-old wideout finished with league-highs in catches (31), receiving yards (455), and receiving scores (9) under coach June Jones and the Roughnecks' high-flying progressive scheme. He'll compete as a reserve out of camp
