NFL 2020 NFL Pre-Draft Discussion

I don't see Becton as the top 15 pick a loft of mock drafts have. Sure he has elite size and athleticism but that isn't as important as technique when it comes to OL play.

Exactly, I think the tape has to do the speaking when it comes to OL prospects. Sexy NFL measurables and such hold far too much baring with some people.

No point deluding yourselves, the NFL season will be canceled eventually, like everything else (colleges, schools, restaurants, malls, businesses) as we embark on a "brave new world" scrnario.

The voice of stupidity back at it again after forgetting what the voice of reason told him yesterday.

Nah, s**t will be back to normal end of April latest.

Wouldn't be surprising given all the scouting events (Pro Days, visits etc) have been suspended and there'd be a number of GMs and owners uncomfortable with drafting players with far less info than they are used to

Way more fun the way it currently stands, could easily end up geting some HOFs in the sixth and seventh rounds and a few more epic busts in the first and second with GMs having to guess a bit more than usual. Old school draft.

In other words...its probably true, the Nfl has at least put that plan in place should coronavirus keep escalating.
The NFL is big enough to have plans for all events in case of emergency. Should a terrorist attack happen or whatever. Just doubt they expected a biological pandemic.

The Los Angeles Times reports the NFL Draft will no longer be held in Las Vegas due to concerns over the COVID-19 outbreak.
The draft will still take place next month, but the league is expected to move forward in a studio setting that "will cut to teams’ headquarters as they make their picks." This is consistent with how the NFL has handled business to this point, with free agency starting on time and teams operating remotely. It's the latest draft change after the league already cancelled Pro Days and Top-30 visits. The draft remains scheduled for April 23-25.

I really am looking forward to the draft without all the bs that goes on usually with it. . Can't wait. Genuinely one of the positives to come out of the coronavirus.

Reckon the Panthers now, after releasing Newton, could quite possibly draft Jordan Love.

Grier would have to be released before I consider that a possibility.

Reckon the coaching staff want to make PJ the man. Teddy the perfect guy to sit and learn from, the kind of guy who is all about the team and happy to show his heir apparent the ropes.
