NFL 2020 NFL - Week 2

I know the organization wants a feel good story with Conner to come true but I think it's time to let it go, he can't stay healthy...

Steelers coach Mike Tomlin said the team will "leave the light on" for James Conner (ankle) in Week 2.
Tomlin added that he doesn't have any "long-term concerns" about Conner's durability, and therein lies the issue with prioritizing Benny Snell on waivers. Much like last year when he battled numerous injuries and was constantly in and out of Pittsburgh's lineup, Conner is expected to fight back and be utilized as the team's bell-cow when healthy — 'when' being the key word. Snell logically offers short-term value, but the Steelers will likely be without RT Zach Banner (torn ACL) and RG Stephen Wisniewski (torn pectoral) for the year. Consider Conner questionable for Sunday.

NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reports the initial diagnosis for Steelers OT Zach Banner is a torn ACL.
He'll be moved to season-ending injured reserve in the coming days. Already short starters in the trenches with David DeCastro (knee) still recovering and his replacement, Stephen Wisniewski, suffering a torn pectoral on Monday night, Pittsburgh will revert to rookie RG Kevin Dotson and RT Chukwuma Okorafor in the interim. It's a disastrous situation for Benny Snell, who is expected to replace James Conner (ankle) in the short-term.

Chris Godwin is in the league's concussion protocol.
Uh oh. Godwin didn't show symptoms Monday or Tuesday but is now under the surveillance of concussion specialists. Coach Bruce Arians said the team will be "very cautious" with Godwin. Fantasy players need to be prepared to not have Godwin for Week 2 against the Panthers. The good news for Tampa is Mike Evans (hamstring) practiced Wednesday and "ran well," according to Arians. Scotty Miller would be a surefire WR3 play against lowly Carolina if Godwin sits.

It only worked because of the stupidity of the Bucs players.

Let it go and it was guaranteed to be a penalty and their ball at the 40. Instead 2 of them try to catch it, fu** it up and have it bounce off one of them and remain in the field of play to allow a Saints player to recover

Did it work? Yes it did. Good ST play.

Forgot to get it done before Week 1, but welcome back to Power Rankings for 2020.

Don’t want to overreact too much on Niners, Packers, Vikings, Jags.

Accepting any thoughts and criticism!

I like the bit where the Raiders won and are below the Browns who got stomped. I could look more in to other rankings but stopped there really.

You only beat the Panthers, bro. :$

I am only asking to swap 1 spot. We dont deserve much more than that after stumbling over the Panthers.

I was being a touch sarcastic. A win is always better than a beat down, even if the opposition was Baltimore. They go their s**t pushed in.

Atlanta at 27 and Browns at 20 seems weird.

I mean Atlanta is below the Giants ffs. In what world? Sam's world!

Giants are a bottom 3 team.

jags beat colts how can they be placed where they are

I can only assume you aren't taking preseason expectations into account

My rankings are reflective of both, what i saw in week one and my assessment of teams pre week 1.

A lot is linked. If I have Panthers at #30 it’s hard to give the Raiders much credit. Same as where I have the Ravens. If the Raiders put up well against the Saints then we’re talking!

Atlanta at 27 and Browns at 20 seems weird.

I mean Atlanta is below the Giants ffs. In what world? Sam's world!

Giants are a bottom 3 team.

Same as above
I don’t think Seattle are top 5-10 at the moment so Falcons getting punished is a bad sign at this early stage.

Good work on yours. I also await GG’s contribution.
Always happy to stimulate a little discussion.
