Last time I played footy, admittedly a long time ago the footy shorts had no pockets and neither did the guernsey.....Where else would you suggest he put the watch....might be a bit uncomfortable in the old jockstrap don't ya reckon?

Dangerflop was no more responsible for what happened to Vlastuin than Menegola was for what happened to Simpson.

Australian Rules Football is a contact sport, and sometimes accidental contact is made which results in players getting injured.

If all you saw was the still, of Dangerfield making contact with a raised arm, then you'd reasonably think that he has a case to answer. If you saw the previous 2 seconds of play, where Dangerfield beats Vlastuin to the ball, punches/paddles it away with a raised and outstretched arm, with barely enough time to brace himself for the inevitable contact - then you'd know that this was just a "footballing incident", that Dangerflop had no other option open to him, and that Dangerfield was just trying to protect himself from the contact.

Ah but the thing is plenty of players have been suspended for "footballing incidents" because of how the other player has come off, Shiel got suspended because of an action that could have caused an injury! This is the issue the lack of consistency.

His best chance of winning a Flag was to stay, in either/both of 2016/17.

The story is all over the media it was the watch maker looking for exposure for his product...if you follow social media AFL and AFLW footballers get bombarded with free gifts to endorse products ranging from clothing to jewelry etc.

Who was with his kid, the reason why Short eventually took the watch. Would be pretty odd for that person to go public with it being a watch if it wasn’t, especially since that’s his line of work. Pretty big accusation to throw, especially after the person in question cleared it up with a logical explanation.

Suspect character. GC should trade him out while they can. Preferably to Adelaide Crows where he can be nurtured and closer to his family.
It's a mental health issue and GC shouldn't stand in his way.
