Noble might be ok in that management style role at a well resourced club but will North have the money (especially with the lower spend) to put the right people around him? Who is doing the actual coaching?

They also got a highly experienced and well qualified senior assistant in John Blakey from Sydney, I’m sure he will be heavily involved in the game day stuff

How is Noble's appointment at North any different to Fagan's at Brisbane? Fagan seems to have done a pretty good job.

A stint at the Bays and 2 AFL Asst Coach gigs - he'll be fine and will take a lot from his time with Fagan, which may have been a factor.

Was he liked here? I honestly can't remember what he did.
He was one of our few genuinely good operators, at a time when the club didn't have many of them.

There's a good reason why the AFL head hunted him to go to Brisbane and sort out the mess up there.

We have been spending the football department soft cap for the last few years (partly on paying out sacked staff) and the TPP cap bringing player salaries forward, I think financially we are fairly stable, will post a slight profit this year despite only 2 home games and nothing coming from Tasmania this season.

We have sacked the vast majority of assistants we had so Nobel still has plenty of scope to target whichever assistants he feels will work well with him.
