I’m going to back him in. Reckon there’s a chance that he turned up there with the mindset that he’d already made it and locked into the 22. I don’t think even Carlton will have failed to set him straight.

Mckay stepping up would make Gov's life a lot easier by taking the number 1 defender.

Get the feeling also Curnow is going to severely underdone for 2020 even if does come back at some stage during this year.

There's a reason Carlton took Mckay first at pick 10, we were very keen on him but they knew we wouldn't take curnow with 11 so he'd be there at 12.

I think Milera will come good with a bit of sugar and clear direction we’ll see him at is best, as I have previously said looked lost with no direction last season

I think also if they give him a roll and then stick to it and stop throwing him around he will kill it. I really hope it is midfield cause he has the tools to be something special.

When AA and B&F winners Laird and Matt Crouch look lost with no direction, what hope in hell did our younger players have?

Still, I'd like to see him take the game on more instead of doing dinky little Mackay style 20m passes.
