I think it's a follow up to his tweet about the media hounding players/coaches who are under pressure. And contrasting that to the outpouring of solemn grief when reporters were losing their jobs the last few months. Is that a cry for help from plough?

No Pressure Cooker for the media identities, who'll be the next tv commentator to be sacked speculation, dead man walking journos etc whereas for players/coaches similar speculation is an extension of the sport.
Whether you agree with him or not... but that's where he's coming from here I think. Laidley, Thompson, Hird all significant issues recently. Frawley? I know he coached a long time ago. Walsh even?
Hehe, I watched the "Dream Final" in a pub in Qld; I had to bribe the locals with Bundy to get a share of the only TV in the bar (vs the NRL). At one stage, one of them said "I don't know why you need to keep watching this, you're belting them."I was cheering the Lions on in Sydney pub, locals couldnt understand why the hatred towards a SA team.

Hirds problems were caused by Hird and no-one else.
If anything the Media did its best to protect him and gloss over how truly appauling his beavior was, making weak ass 'he's a good guy' defenses.
Likewise Laidley. The media didn't push him into abusing his wife, that is 100% on him.
So frankly cry me a river, these pathetic wretches deserve what they get.
And you know any of this, how? Do you know Dean? Have you spoken to his wife? How do you know when or why he started taking drugs???? That is madness. Dean’s marriage breakdown can be easily explained by his preference to spend time as a lady. His drug addiction is much more related to his playing days, not unique pressures experienced as a coach. The fuq is wrong with Plough, he can’t be that stupid.
1970 is a proud drug user, it's never the cause of any issues. And you know any of this, how? Do you know Dean? Have you spoken to his wife? How do you know when or why he started taking drugs?
I'm not saying that Plough is right or wrong, but your rebuttal is pure bullshit based on nothing but your own assumptions.
Seriously, how many times does this number come up in your life? 119 emails, 119k responses, page 119... it just never ends! Wonder if Port folk see it too!My favourite page number.
Why, because he likes to dress as a female? Or because he has problems with drugs?Man I just looked up the Laidley photos. Now I feel bad that I did. Hope he finds the help the help he needs.
And Jenny just throws out that land mine, lets see who can't resist stepping on it and watching the thread blow out. Why, because he likes to dress as a female? Or because he has problems with drugs?
It's only a land mine for rookiesAnd Jenny just throws out that land mine, lets see who can't resist stepping on it and watching the thread blow out.![]()
Well, you've made quite a list of issues, and if you can't pick something, anything, that suggests that he might need some help then... keep looking I guess. It's only a land mine for rookies. But really, it's an honest question. Why are you sad you saw those photos? Why do you hope he gets the help he needs? Trying to understand people's reaction to the news that he was a well known cross-dresser. But more importantly, an apparent stalker, crack head and possible dealer. I'm interested to know where their pity lies.

I implied no such thing.Well, you've made quite a list of issues, and if you can't pick something, anything, that suggests that he might need some help then... keep looking I guess.
But sure. Imply the poster is a bigot for having a modicum of compassion.

There were two options. I wanted to know why he was sad for him. What’s your problem? Nowhere have I called him a bigot.Sure
