Can someone explain to me how this works and yes I know we are crap at the moment but how does this help us against our opponents -

Melbourne get an extra two days more break than us
We get an extra day break against Collingwood
Western Bulldogs get an extra three days break than us - an extra three days over compacted rounds. WTF!
Geelong get an extra two days break than us

So over the 4 games we are well in the deficit. No that it matters but heck.

Can't fathom it, kick us while we are down.

And 1970crow says this is the most "even" fixture.....hence asterisk season.

Freos young mids look good, will be handy in a couple of years. Spent two very high picks on Cerra and Bradshaw in the same draft, 2 early Mids that are now paying dividends. Food for thought 🤔

Hawthorn are going to be our biggest challenger for next year's pick 1.
Them, us, North and the Swans will be down the bottom for quite a few years I would imagine.

Surely Hawthorn have to hit the draft hard for a few years.

They'll be down longer than the others, maybe even than us

yeah the talk of asterisk cup/ covid cup not counting as a real flag is horseshit

i'd totally take a asterisk cup if we were up there

basically out of all the clubs in the 8 at the moment West Coast are the only ones i dont have grievances against - Go Eagles
Last time the Paps were decent it was like them throwing down the gauntlet and we got Phil Walsh in. It might actually force us to make the necessary changes if they do go all the way.

Hawthorn with the threat of the PSD is enough to send a chill down the spine. Port, Brisbane, GWS and GC better lock away their young talent (for their own sakes).

Going to digress from footy talk for a bit as the games were terrible tonight...

Australia Ninja Warrior Grand Final was ten times better than the footy tonight! After 3 seasons of no Australian completing the entire course through heats, semi finals and GF, there were three who finally completed the entire course and reached Mount Midoriyama.

All three then finished Mount Midoriyama, absolutely nuts! It’s a 22 metre rope climb that has to be done in under 30 seconds. There has been about 50 seasons of the show globally (Japan, UK and the US) and only 14 have ever completed the entire course before tonight. The US only had their 2nd person finish it last year after 11 seasons.
