While he was good with the pack marking, I do think his best role was to defend in attack. He is reasonably quick for a player of his size, and can chase down most of his opponents.

But I absolutely agree he isn’t worth the asking price that Carlton offered. Anyone who thought or still thinks McGov left us for “bad culture” needs to smack themselves in the face and realise he went to Carlton...

Seems happy to just be plodding along at this stage of his career.

We paid him upwards of 700K, that's super irresponsible list management.

Suns, Carlton, Freo will all be around that mark.

That being said, you cant tell 4 5th of f all from pre season games. Everyone had us and Melbourne around the mark last year and North finishing close to last.

This Essendon Geelong game looks ...ordinary. While I hated the way we played against Suns, it wasn’t much worse than what I’m seeing here.
