So close. Carlton tried so hard to be Carlton. They'll still probably find a way to lose.

We forget how good Gibbs was, now that he's fallen off a cliff. NO ONE thought he'd suddenly stop knowing how to footy. It looks like the Crows lost perspective with Gibbs and really just wanted to trade for him for the fans to end the big fish debate. Big fail. Should have walked away as we know. It doesn't strike me as a sound list managers decision it smells like interference from the top.

Hopefully we can draft Scully and Trengove.I hope Nicks realizes that having potentially Picks 1 and 2, can set up his coaching career in season 2 and beyond.
Dew saw the writing on the wall in the latter half of the year. A lot of those Suns smashings IMO were self inflicted to make the situation look worse than what it was.
This suggests to me he caught it in Melbourne...who'd want to go there?Has this Essendon thing been mentioned here. Some Irish guy tested negative 5 times but has returned a positive and the game is postponed now. Conor McKenna

Trengove might slip...to the DFA draftHopefully we can draft Scully and Trengove.
Yeah plenty of discussion above.Has this Essendon thing been mentioned here. Some Irish guy tested negative 5 times but has returned a positive and the game is postponed now. Conor McKenna

He thinks if they have a negative test the players don't have it so all good! Can anyone explain in me how Gil believes that Essendon can play Melb in a couple of days time?
How good he was?
Gibbs has never been an elite match winning player.
Yeah his form is down, but even at his best he wasn't worth anythingcclose to what we paid for him.
During the Essendon saga we heard the media and players bang on about player welfare and the welfare of their families. He thinks if they have a negative test the players don't have it so all good!
Considering the close contact I'd almost think 21 day quarantine for all players in the vicinity would seem about right therefore Essendon players can't play or train for 3 weeks.
Especially considering McKenna was blowing and spitting all over the place.

Would be a good selection, similar to Deven Robertson for us.And have express pace if you have great endurance to get from contest to contest...
Gippy Power's 180cm Sam Berry might be worth a look this draft.
I know most will agree with you, but the Bryce Gibbs of 2016 and 2017, when he was going at 27 disposals a game at 70% was actually a fantastic player. How good he was?

Think we both were trying to trade up after night 1 of the draft to get himWould be a good selection, similar to Deven Robertson for us.
Kid is a high character, strong leadership type.
There's an incredibly small chance of catching it outdoors. The indoor weights training sessions are a bit more concerning. He thinks if they have a negative test the players don't have it so all good!

Even his first year was fine for the most part. 3 years of that would've been palatable.I know most will agree with you, but the Bryce Gibbs of 2016 and 2017, when he was going at 27 disposals a game at 70% was actually a fantastic player.
If we'd gotten three or four years of that, he could have been worth it.
Hopefully we can draft Scully and Trengove.

His first game for us against Essendon at Etihad he kicked 2 goals from memory? Played well I thought “here we go !!” The missing piece ... not to beEven his first year was fine for the most part. 3 years of that would've been palatable.
