Seems mckenna broke the AFL covid rules. Went to a house inspection and some parties. Talk of a lengthy suspension and all bombers players that trained with him being out for 2 weeks. Will be interesting if their backline is out but the AFL make the club play

Given he broke the rules the club can only be angry at him.

Look at the class of 2014 nothing really there at all that screams star (unfair on McCartin due to concussion issues) he has the tools and talent
For every Matt Rowell and Luke Hodge there is a Jack Watts

The failures tend to be among the taller guys I reckon. Not many pick 1 mids have been Jack Watts type failures.

Don't get me wrong. He was a very good player. But many players fade away to shadows of themselves around late 20s early 30s. Look at Thommo. Gifting two first rounders was always going to be a huge gamble. I'm not sure the Crows really had a plan other than just to get him.

Thommo's body broke down after years of carrying our midfield in the most contested role in the game that's not rucking. A blues supporter once posted Gibbs was the only player they knew who could play a game with a raw egg in each pocket and they'd still be intact after the final siren. Bryce hasn't deteriorated due to his body, it's because he never wanted to play for us but was forced to due to his need for more cash. And we're talking about a career cruiser who's best years we're when contracts were being negotiated.

There's no clicks in speculating that Connor might get fined and suspended for months. If she could wrangle Essendon being at fault or a coverup it would be different. But the angle just isn't there. As huge as it is, it's not a click worthy story.
