Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon-Journal confirms Kareem Hunt was pulled over and cited for a traffic violation Tuesday in Rocky River, Ohio.
Police discovered three "small amounts" of marijuana in the vehicle, which Hunt claimed belonged to his brother. Hunt, who was driving a car registered under his mother's name, was cited for speeding (he was clocked at 77 mph when the posted speed limit was 60) but avoided marijuana charges. Hunt can't afford any more slip-ups after the off-field scandal that led to his departure from Kansas City in 2018, though it doesn't sound like anything will come of this particular incident. If he can walk the straight and narrow, the former rushing champ should land a starting job when he enters free agency this offseason.

and que the outraged people who think he is still playing for KC.

Free agent WR Antonio Brown was granted $110,000 bond Friday morning following his arrest Thursday night on charges of burglary with battery, burglary of an occupied conveyance and criminal mischief.
He finally turned himself in to Hollywood, FL police after an arrest warrant was issued Wednesday. Brown spent the night in Broward County Jail but will be released once the paperwork is filed for his bail, likely either Friday or early Saturday. The charges stem from an alleged confrontation with the driver of a tractor-trailer moving truck at Brown's home earlier this week. Brown's trainer, Glen Holt, was arrested on one count of burglary with battery and later released on $20,000 bond. Per terms of his bond agreement, the former Steeler will be subject to GPS monitoring, drug and alcohol tests, a mental health evaluation and will also be required to surrender his passport and any guns in his possession. Recently dropped by mega-agent Drew Rosenhaus, the 31-year-old's life is unraveling before our eyes. At this point, we can probably stop referring to Brown as a "free agent" and simply call him a former NFL receiver because his playing days are assuredly over.

browns charges (felony battery) can result in life in prison

Lawyer claims Antonio Brown, who faces potential life imprisonment, was “overcharged”

Posted by Mike Florio on January 24, 2020, 12:11 PM EST

Antonio Brown will soon leave police custody, on $110,000 bond. The charges he currently faces could put him behind bars for a long time, however.
Via Cameron Wolfe of ESPN.com, Brown faces among other things a charge of felony burglary with battery. It carries a potential sentence of life in prison.
They overcharged him,” attorney Lorne Berkeley said, according to Wolfe. “Once a thorough investigation is done, we believe the charges filed will most likely be very different than they are right now.”
Brown’s other lawyer, Eric Schwartzreich, disputed the notion that Brown is suffering from a mental-health condition.
“I don’t think there’s any mental health issues with him,” Schwartzreich said. “Antonio Brown’s life right now is a reality show. He is misinterpreted and misunderstood. He’s not guilty of these charges. He did not commit a felony battery. In this case, when all the facts come out, you will see he will be vindicated and he will be found not guilty.”
On the issue of mental health, prosecutors pointed to concerns recently articulated by his former agent, Drew Rosenhaus, and the mother of three of Brown’s children, Chelsie Kyriss. Brown has been ordered to undergo a mental-health evaluation.
The charges arise from Brown’s alleged interactions with the driver of a moving truck who was trying to deliver Brown’s California belongings. Brown allegedly threw rocks at the truck, battered the driver, and removed the property from the truck after a dispute over payment.
“He turned himself in,” Schwartzreich said. “He did the right thing. He surrendered. He’s concerned for the charges and rightfully so. He’s ready for this fight. He’s ready for his vindication. It’s going to take some time, but we are going to put the train on that track.”
Apart from Brown’s legal predicament, the latest incident further complicates his eligibility to play in the NFL, since it constitutes a separate potential basis for discipline under the Personal Conduct Policy. That’s likely the least of his concerns, for now.

"Antonio Brown’s life right now is a reality show. He is misinterpreted and misunderstood"
1) He made his life a reality show himself, and continues to do it by live streaming so much of the stupid s**t he does
2) What exactly is there to misunderstand with a bunch of the stuff he has done recently? 😂

I hope that lawyer realises that he won't get paid for his work

typical lawyer, speaking on behalf, a lackey for his paying client.

Methinks the lawyer will be getting payment upfront.

It's funny how anyone who can make money off Brown believes he doesn't have mental health issues. I'm seeing a pattern.

DR finally fessed up once he knew the gravy train had ended and decided to leave him saying he need to get psychiatric help.

It's sad.

Berry is toast sadly man, wasn't close to same player he once was. Was getting absolutely torched in coverage when I saw him last. The year off story is cute but I'm not buying it.

Oregon QB Justin Herbert was named the 2020 Senior Bowl MVP.
Herbert was considered the best quarterback prospect at the event with Joe Burrow and Tua Tagovailoa not participating, and he lived up to the hype. Not only did Herbert bring home the MVP trophy of the game, but he was also named the practice player of the week. Herbert is on track to be a fringe top-10 pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.

Patriots CB Joejuan Williams is facing multiple drug charges stemming from a January 17 arrest in Tennessee.
Williams was cited for speeding (he was going 20 mph over the posted limit) and charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drugs without a prescription and possession of drug paraphernalia after police discovered acetaminophen hydrocodone (more commonly known as Vicodin), valacyclovir hydrocodone and a "large amount" of marijuana in his vehicle. The 22-year-old was booked in Cumberland County jail before posting $37,500 bond the following day. He'll enter a plea in court on February 21. A second-round pick out of Vanderbilt, Williams logged five tackles over 80 defensive snaps as a rookie in 2019.

Following its investigation, the NFL has concluded the Bills did not violate league rules by failing to report Jerry Hughes' wrist injury during the 2019 season.
Hughes admitted to playing through a torn wrist ligament in 2019, though the injury was unknown until he underwent surgery last week. After looking into the matter, the NFL concluded the Bills did not violate league policy and will avoid punishment despite failing to disclose Hughes' injury. "The NFL confirmed that the matter was reviewed and there was no violation of the Injury Report policy," the league said in a statement released Monday morning. Hughes appeared in every game this season, compiling 23 tackles, 4.5 sacks and one fumble recovery over 707 defensive snaps.

[Update] The #Saints believe Taysom Hill is a franchise QB, but if Drew Brees wants to come back, they'll welcome him back with open arms, per @JayGlazer.

Madness. Yet still not the most questionable thing to come out from the Saints this week.
