Are some of the young players set for a lower number? Scrimshaw is an obvious one who could very well be given number 14. Cousins and Hanrahan could both move up as well. I wouldn’t be surprised if Lewis moved from 8 to number 2.

With more list changes to come some of the other potential vacant numbers that could become available; 25, 27, 28, 32, 38, 39 and 42.

Scrim 14 pls.
Patton 2
Frost TBA

I like the idea that certain numbers are assigned to playing positions. And I like future that it's all over the place instead of all the low numbers up front, etc. Gives it a traditional, old-school feel.

Why induce player comparisons?

Scrimshaw - 2 (The last bloke who was in 2 started off in 35, so why not keep that tradition? It's just as relevant as the Birchall argument)

And Scrimshaw wore No. 02 at the Suns before the Hawks trade.

Patton - 2
Scrimshaw -14
Frost - 25 (assuming Schoey is moved on) otherwise 27 if Pitto moves.

Cousins, Ollie and Moore to change numbers you’d think?

Does anyone know if Scrimmers even wants a number change? Maybe he likes 35? It's an aesthetically pleasing number. It could also make him super freaky!
Unlikely

Started in "37" for the Gold Coast in his debut year in 2017
Then moved to "2" the next year in 2018

No matter what he does, he'll get compared to Birchall. Happened before he was drafted, happened at Gold Coast, happened once traded to Hawks, happened when playing at Hawks.

Why not just give him 14? Not going to add any more pressure than already has.
