Draftees now involved in the first proper drill of the day.
Groups of 6. Two players at each end. Two in the middle. All 15-20m apart. Players at the end kick to each other, then those in the middle who spin and kick to the other end at 45degrees. Two balls - one starts at the opposite corner.

10/10 for the professionalism of your post.
It's a busy diagram.
People always said we want to see the angles worked more.

Not pretending to be a movement specialist, but Izzy Butters looks to me to have a very laboured running style. I noticed they had people videoing the new recruits running, so hopefully they can have a look at it and correct it if necessary. Jarvis Pina on the other hand just seems to glide across the ground.

Yeah, Pina looked decent during the period he was out there. Smooth with nice skills.

Closest I’ve seen to full ground movement now. Justin starts with the ball in the D50. Tells the players to get the ball off him. When he spills it they have to move it to the other end.
Once they kick a goal all players run around a marker on the F50 and along the boundary to the other 50 then back into position.

Yep. It's the complete opposite to the defensive 50 drill we did last pre-season. No slow 15m chips and holding the ball up.

The draftees all look to be great kicks except butters who missed kicked a few, he did look the most nervous of the new boys though, heard the experience boys compare Serong to Neale a couple times during a handball drill and he also looks most ready physically to play round 1, Acres also very vocal out there and wants to be involved in the play
