You can take the boy out of Collingwood...
Looks like we got most of the Collingwood out of Seedsman, hopefully we can squeeze it out of Crocker too.
Do we want to get the Collingwood out of them?

So he can run - can he football?
Would I have mentioned him if he couldn't football, of course he can football, wing/half back likely moving into the outside mid role next season, one of 3 GWV Rebels that showed they have scope to be serious contenders for next year's draft, Sharp along with Nick Stevens [1st round possibility] and Jack Tillig. Incidently Harry is another with a late December birthday so even as an under ager this year he was giving away a lot of age in that regard to most of the lads he was playing against.

2021 promises to be a real big year for the GWV Rebels even this far out with 3 that look top end prospects already coming through Ben Hobbs, Charlie Molan and Josh Rentsch a KPP that already measures in at 196cm.

Is there a relative age effect in AFL?

Would more players get drafted each year who have a Jan-Mar birthday as opposed to an Oct-Dec one?

Couple of club scouts I've talked to at NAB League have told me it's significant factor they look at when assessing players and a big reason in why it's usually the younger or underdeveloped taller kid's that go undrafted are the most likely to be invited back as over agers. There was an local lad Isaac Wareham who went undrafted this year unluckily in my view despite playing a couple of games for Vic Country at the Championships and receiving an AFL Draft Combine invite who has a Christmas eve birthday so in effect if he was born a week later he'd have been eligible for next year's draft.
I'm hoping the Rebels invite him back to their program in 2020 as an "over ager" or he may be lost to cricket as he's also a gun cricketer very much on the Cricket Victoria radar....sister Georgia is on the Australian Women's Cricket roster [Right Arm Leg spinner and right hand bat].

It may have been mentioned earlier but does anyone know how Gibbs is tracking at training. He's been low key. We need a big season from him otherwise dump him at the end of the year.

Still don't get changing numbers. Surely you just wanna make the number you started in your own?

Some people feel comfortable and more confident in certain numbers. If they play better because they like the number on their back then there’s nothing wrong with that

Some of them prefer to go back to their junior number (ie. Grigg with #8 a few years back).
