2020 Predictions

The Brisbane Lions, started the pre-season in 2019 with many opposition clubs surprised by their hardness at the
ball.
I think JC will set the bar pretty high, and with JLo's change in style, and other additions to the coaching box Freo
will be as unpredictable as ever.
My prediction is that we will be entertained, passion returned and as a fan that is all I can ask for.

Do we know what his schedule is re: knee?

He would need to play at least 16-17 games to finish runner up, wouldn't he?

I would be bloody stoked if we see that many games from him.

On a positive note, selection will be difficult when Pearce, Hamling and Wilson return. If Logue is fit - we will need to find a place for young.

Talls - Hamling - Pearce - Logue

Med/Smalls - Ryan - Wilson - Logue - Hughes - Young.

Mids/backs - Conca - Hill - ?

If we can get Hamling - Pearce - Logue - Ryan and Wilson fit for long periods we will have a shot against most teams.

If Henry plays well enough to finish top runner up and Serrong wins the award we will have a very potent and classy front half as well.

6 pack for a carton is about fair value. If you're making an even money bet on 10th or better, you'd be better off opening a punting account and betting on greater than 8.5 wins for the value of as many cartons as you're prepared to bet.
