LOL easy to just look at your own performances and lose context and just be immersed in doom or glory
they did look to improve in the back half of last year
where as they'd usually go backwards in the later stages of seasons
and totally my claim , their game against us in Round 1 for so many years now has been their grand final
so when your best game of the year is round 1 they are loooong seasons

so they've turned a corner and come to this that door , is to the top 4 ? knock knock and we're in they are thinking, OMFG LOL , if only it was that easy

take joy in their misery brothers & sisters as they took joy in ours

It’s all well and good to say we will finish in the top 5. But that means they have to improve more then 8-10 teams and hope someone in that top 5 slips.
Last years top 8
Rich Geelong Port Brisbane Saints Pies Eagles Dogs.

The only team they may finish above is the Pies. Saints are set to improve but are getting injuries similar to our 2016 preseason.
Eagles Cats Port Brisbane will win most of their games at home which gives them a significant advantage over the Blooze. They are no where near Richmond or Geelong over the course of the season regardless of what happens in R1.
They could possibly sneak into the 8 but IMO there are at least 10 other sides that are better then them

their list is putrid

cant see them making finals until they start a new rebuild and then 5-10 years from there

every year all teams start on 0 wins and fresh hopes
they will be hoping they are the Bulldogs of 2016 or Tigers of 2017

and rude bastards like us Geelong, Brisbane and Port will take that dream away from them piece by piece , game by game

savouir the moment
They flog the Bombers though.

I'd like to welcome uncle Mo to the salt festival

F them!! They beat us by heaps in Rd 6 2017 after both teams were 5-0. I'm surprised they were unable to see the improvement in Richmond come finals time. 2 games in the later part of 2017 were defining games imo. The loss to St.Kilda at Docklands when we just didn't show up was a timely reminder, and the demolition job on Fremantle in the 2nd last round. That 100+ point demolition of the shitfish tuned us up nicely. Still, Adelaide were asleep and full of self-admiration and paid the price.
Some people say that Adelaide should have won the GF because they were the dominant side all year. They seem to forget that from round 7 2017, both us and the scats won more games than Adelaide.
