Round 4 Saturday 13th April 2019 4:35pm, the Richmond Tigers travelled to Adelaide to take on port minus names Such as Rance, Riewoldt, Cotchin, Martin.

No one gave us a chance, Richmond have no depth they said, No Martin no Richmond they said, Richmond are no good away from the MCG they said

This is how we lined up for that game

Noah Balta played in his second game playing as a forward, Baker, Ross, Bolton & Stack all had games tallies in the single figures

And this was the Martinless away from the MCG result

Lynch kicked 6 and we secured an against the odds win.

2020 is slightly different, Port go alright this season sitting a game clear on top of the ladder. However they take on a resurgent Richmond hit by injuries but unearthing new stars such as Shai Bolton averaging 6 score involvements 15 disposals and 3 clearances through the middle, Noah Balta looking like a stallion down back and excitement machine Mabior Chol.

This Richmond team is currently missing reigning bnf winner Dion Prestia, the 2nd best defender in the AFL after Dylan Grimes, David Astbury, no 1 ruck Toby Nankervis and a host of other stars so to make it fair on port expect Richmond to rest 3-5 from Tuesday night's game. I wouldn't expect to see Jack Riewoldt or Trent Cotchin travel with the team.

Despite the injuries expect the result to be the same as 2019.

Port Puffers - a club full of front runners if I’ve ever seen one.

Apply a bit of pressure and intensity, and they melt. Coming off a short break, if they get their tail up early they’ll be tough to catch.

Free swing for us, GC and Essendon will be important games to bank - need to start rotating players as our compressed fixture kicks in this round.
