Yeah, Barrass there instead of Schofield gets the rating up to A and not far from A+.Surprised to see the defence as a B overall, given how its been our strongest line this season IMO. I guess Barrass’ omission does hurt it in a big way.

The ratings provided for defence, forward and midfield are in context with the rest of the competition. At the moment in the league (possibly due to tactical factors and cyclical trends) there are far more highly ranked defenders than forwards. This causes the current situation where in order to have an A grade rating in defence you require more highly ranked players there than you do to gain an equivalent rating in the forward line.
Indirectly they are as CD have a near-monopoly upon the data-gathering of statistics in AFL.this rating is all based on Champion Data right?
