It’s pretty generous with the double ups. Giants the only ones that are actual flag contenders and we knew we would have them twice anyway. It’s a rare gift from AFL headquarters ...hope we can most the most of it

Fair draw would have preferred another day game rather than Saturday night.
Thursday night football is the graveyard shift for the Swans with games poorly attended although they are dragging the Pies up so it may help.

Yes Thursday’s not ideal attendance wise but we’ll turn up

It's against the Daniher Bombers. Need to show Sydney why selling half the team, our assests and the SCG was worth it to get a player who might not even be fit to play

Will be a massive Vic buildup for round 2 bombers game.

I have a fantasy of being up by 40 with three minutes left and SYDNEY crowd cheering widely for Daniher taking a set shot from 55m out “see you next year” ...and he nails it and salutes the crowd

Have a habbit of beating them. They are still scared. 25/75 LOSS!

Depend which "family team turns up" Expect the Munsters WIN!

Hard to get the draw right but the Swans have only played the Pies once in Melbourne in the last decade going back to round 9 in 2013. Prior to that it was round 21 in 2009 at the MCG.

So there is only 2 games in it,? LET's believe!!!!!

Nah not really, the important thing is the development and sticking to the Bloods "never give up' mantra!

They cannot in anyone's wildest dreams win it ALL, (maybe not make the 8?) but they can make HUGE progress!

We seem to travel to the Gabba every year. Great for me as I get to see them live again but thought we were due a SCG lions game. Playing Gold Coast as well so two live games for me which is a treat.
