Brown being described in these parts as a "60 goal a year forward" almost as much as Aaron Edwardskicking 100 goals for West Coast that yearPLAYERCARDSTARTAaron Edwards

Sure looks like a 60 goal a year fwd to me...
Is that purely in home and away rounds? How does that look if you remove goals kicked in the finals????

His role got changed. He was tried out in a tagging roleSmall sample size I know, but I like the fact he laid 7 and 6 tackles in the games when he had his least disposals. I really rate that in a player, can't get hold of the pill, make an impact on the game in other ways and a lot of time thats just a mindset.
This. We're basically a shell when cunnington isn't around or is being tagged. I love him but no one would be surprised if he pulled the pin early and went for a life of fishing and farming.North fans: when Ben Cunningtonis injured/gets tagged, we are exposed as he has to do too muchPLAYERCARDSTART10Ben Cunnington

Problem we have with playing hardball though is that we need to be mindful of doing the right thing by Higgo as well.Even if we're mildly interested in him, I'd play any interest down and make Geelong come up with a proper trade for Higgins.
Letting them throw their Queen of Spades in Constable at us lets them out of paying up properly.
Its pretty shitIsn't it great that we are trading Brown at his lowest trade value in years? Truly superb timing

Problem we have with playing hardball though is that we need to be mindful of doing the right thing by Higgo as well.
After all we are the ones who told him that we wouldn't be extending his contract beyond next year so he was welcome to explore his options.
We therefore don't hold a lot of power in this situation I wouldn't have thought.
The posters shitting on Constable were saying the same thing about Butler when he was leaving Richmond.
Calling him a VFL player, plodder, and "we have Kayne Turner"PLAYERCARDSTART28Kayne Turner

I don't listen to anything that puts money into Jabba the Hutch's sweaty paws so it's not on my radar. Its the advert they are running every ten mins on Trade radio
I like his ability to find the ball. Cunnington isn't exactly a speed merchant. Not to mention he prob comes in last every year during the time trials. You like your athletically gifted players.
You ignoring his inability to outrun a goal umpire?

It is, but at the same time, I don't think even a millisecond of time would have ben spent discussing trading BBB before this year. So it kind of becomes a moot point. Its pretty sh*t
It's not like he wasn't offered a very good contract and refused what was on offer...Isn't it great that we are trading Brown at his lowest trade value in years? Truly superb timing
to a team with the least assets to give usIsn't it great that we are trading Brown at his lowest trade value in years? Truly superb timing
Hey - we already have their first. Let’s just say it’s a part of that deal and call it evens.to a team with the least assets to give us

I want someone in the coal face feeding it out to LDU, Simpkin and co. over the next 10 years.
Someone that has years put into his body and on the track is even better
Cunnington always had impeccable ball skills, strength in the contest and vision to offset his pace.
Constable doesn't have enough promise in those categories to do the same imo.
If we get him, I hope like heck I'm wrong.
sh*t. We might get that forward we need after all.

Sorry KC. When it comes to mods and list management. I back in FilthAnyway, I'd be more than happy to have Butler - held back in the best forward system in the league and would be very cheap.
