AFLW 2025 - AFLW Trade and Draft - All the player moves
Due to a number of factors, support for the current BigFooty mobile app has been discontinued. Your BigFooty login will no longer work on the Tapatalk or the BigFooty App - which is based on Tapatalk.
Apologies for any inconvenience. We will try to find a replacement.
Yeah I wasn't really counting those, but you are right!
Correct. We did a lot of Shaw, even putting him onto the rookie list so he would get the benefits of the new CBA the AFLPA were negotiating.
And then, he came back and went the legal route. Nice
It's like CTP car insurance. If you're injured as a passenger in a car driven by your grandmother, you have to claim (via the nominal insurer) against your beloved grandma, and ambulance chasers often 'facilitate' that. It's not always like that. Sometimes the a goin needs to be taken to trigger the insurance. He can't negotiate with the club and then get the insurance to pay. He must demand from the club, the club must deny liability, then he sues, insurers defend/negotiate. Assuming our policy wasn't voided the second we kept him on the list solely in order to use the insurance. Pretty sure we have a duty to mitigate their risk. Not act specifically the opposite. Do you know the details on this?

I don't trust much of what Graham says these days after his continued Essendon/Dank "storm in a tea cup" commentsCornes of the wrinkly variety seems to think Adelaide should be talking to Kane Farrell about move from Port. OOC next year

Can we please stop talk of a Priority Pick, it does not happen any more, Gold Coast was a one off package to remedy the failings of the AFL in setting them up.
Brad Crouch who we constantly bag on here is not getting Band 1, other clubs are not stupid, did you know they actually watch our games and see what we see? No club is giving him sufficient $ and years to fall into Band 1.
People have very inflated ideas on what players like Atkins and Laird are worth. You need to scrutinise trades and compo over the last say three years to see we aren't getting much for them.
Can we also stop talking about sweetheart deals with WB to not bid on Ugle-Hagan, the AFL watch all these things very closely, any sniff of dodgy dealings and you end up with sanctions - yet again!

I’ll alert the interwebs peopleOk everyone, stop talking any potential outcomes, apparently we are all way off the mark as per this poster.. Bigfooty should now close down.
I think his thought process was that he may already be behind other players on Ports list, and can play a mid/forward role.Farrell has a nice leg on him but I'd rather see what Sholl has to offer.
I wonder what is holding him out of the Port side, seems to play very well each time he's selected.Farrell has a nice leg on him but I'd rather see what Sholl has to offer.

Could be a worse option but I don't see Port trading him to us.

Seems injured a bit, but he's a surplus inside mid who would come cheap.Willem Drew
Don't think he come that cheap, shown plenty when he's on the park and with the Wines talk and possibly SPP open to offers I anticipate they'll want to hang onto Drew. Bigger mids with his ability to get forward are at a premium.Seems injured a bit, but he's a surplus inside mid who would come cheap.
We all expect to be down the bottom 2 for the next couple of years, so I'd be holding any pre-FAs until they become FAs. I think the compo we get for them will be better than what clubs offer, purely based on our ladder position, plus that we can match any deals at the time if needed.
Cap space and a low ladder position is a good place to be when it comes to RFAs
Wouldn't be against having a look at Xavier O'Neill specifically, played some decent footy for the Oakleigh Chargers in his draft year despite somewhat surprisingly missing out on the Vic Metro squad, nice blend of pace and skills but more an outside midfielder that offers run and carry than a contested ball winner.Might be kicking the tires on Xavier O'Neill and Brayden Ainsworth from the Eagles. 2nd round picks from the Eagles in '17 and '18 who have yet to get games.
If we land Tilthorp in with our early pick we then need to focus on mids IMO. Whether that’s through trade or the draft. I don’t really see who our future star mids are.

DraftGuru is slow to update then.Brayden played against us on the weekend
