2020 Trade & List Management discussion

So i was wondering could you make a team of active players that have left the crows that would beat the current crows team.

this is the best i could come up with. im sure there are some SANFL type players like douglas who could make the team, I was just looking for AFL listed players

I don't think he was ever on the main list but you can add Ed Curnow

If you guys decided to pay out Gibbs' contract and let him walk does that mean that you can replace him with another player whist slightly juggling the cap or does he spot stay on the list regardless until the contract expires?

Seriously, the only players I wouldn't consider trading would be Doedee, Milera, Fogarty & last year's National Draftees (you can't 'give up' on a player after just one season). The rest, if the price is right, I wouldn't hesitate.

CCJ got injured at the wrong time and Richmond went with Chol. Balta plays at the other end of the ground and has done so for a while with the ultimate plan of him replacing Rance originally.

CCJ will be available from injury in a couple of weeks. Unless injury strikes a forward I can't see him playing until possibly round 18 against you guys. Nankervis will bump Soldo when he is fit again and Chol seems to have now locked in his spot.

Sorry, Soldo was who I meant, not Balta.

If lists are reduced, no way Richmond want 4 rucks on the roster.

Ruthless Port list management would. It is a hard one as he’s probably crows best player. Like I’ve said everyone is tradeable due the crows lack of talent on their list. It’s like they need to reset the clubs list. I feel the crows need to get at least 6-7 first rounders this year. Then look to get 3-4 next season.

We need to use the PSD to our advantage this year of all years. Its been used against us. Like Carlton did with the GC player last year.

Yes, this is the year to pay a good player a premium to threaten to take them through the psd...then offer the club a bargain pick... then target another player through the psd.

We need to be aggressive to bring in talent & turnover our list.

Cheers! Good to see he was a good runner at Junior level. I always feel like that is one of the toughest things to coach into kids who are naturally poor runners.

Might just be the intensity at AFL level he's adjusting too which has him blowing so hard at the end of games.

...and that we have completely messed up the fitness side of things, which means that Lachie is more likely to have regressed in that regard instead of improving.
