Did I just hear correctly on 7news that Brouch is open to offers from the Pear? Surely not?

Took them a few weeks to catch up. I called that here weeks ago.

Must have burnt a lot of their supporters to see him rubbish their club when he left, him of all their players ended up hating them. Good times.

The rumors were he’d had a massive falling out with a lot of the playing group. Also was a player who had periods of laziness On the training track (perhaps that’s what put him off Side with other players).

Unless hawks regime have turned him around I can’t say I’m interested.

In fact mediocre players in good teams turn into bog average players in bad teams. Take away the well drilled structures and A-Grade support and these players often get found out.

Yep - Roo framing his potential exit as a disaster, when Port have excelled at trade/draft time of late. He’s had one season where he’s met expectations - and it’s this absolute mess of a year. Every other year, for a number of reasons, he’s been nothing special.

They’ll probably pull something out of their arses here and trade him for huge value.

$450k to $550k would give us band 2 compo.

He's a free agent this off season.

Band 4 and Band 5 would be virtually the same pick (end of second round and after our 3rd round pick, which will be right at the start of the 3rd round).

Yeah scrap the idea, didnt realise he was a FA and not a RFA. Still, forcing the trade and securing a mid to late 2nd would be handy. I think there's pretty decent depth inside the top 30 of this draft by the looks of things.

We just really, REALLY need to get pick 2. Lock in Hollands with 1 and then 2 gives us SO many options to trade with Sydney, or dangle Mcdonald in front of Freo and really extract max value for the pick. Supports will hate us trading 2, but there's a serious amount to gain if we're clever.

Hartigan was alright on the game's best power forward, can see him being picked up by another AFL club if we don't sign him.

Hartigan's application was similar to the game he put in on Robbie Grey a few years ago. Totally different players to stand but the thing that stuck out is when given a simple role where he doesn't have to ovethink team defense he goes alright.

This is where they'll be smart. Rumours of Crouch coming in, get him for what they're paying Wines, trade out Wines for a 1st, extra player for nothing.

Yeah but a club who would be interested in Wines is far more likely to be interested in Brouch, especially if throwing a few extra $$ means they don't cough up a 1st round draft pick too.

Wingard would have been a great addition in 2016, but not in 2020. Not saying he's a bad player, but not the type we should be investing heavily in.

Does make a bit of sense for Hawks to move him out though if they want to go to the draft.

I would only entertain getting Chad if he came reasonably cheaply. That's in respects to both his salary, and what we'd need to give up to get him. This is unlikely. So, therefore a big no from me.

I don't know what it is about Chad Wingard, but something about him makes me think he would be a negative impact on a lockerroom. Just gives off the vibe of someone who just by their body language can make a place feel uncomfortable or non inclusive.

I'm not basing that off anything i've heard, just a gut feeling, could be totally wrong.
