So you're allowed to make sweeping statements about what "100% of people who watch football know", but no one else is? Got it.
Fine then I'll show you why Taranto is better.
Taranto has had a bad year this year (still better than Heeney's for what it's worth), but he has publicly stated GWS didn't adapt well to the changing comp and it made it hard for him to perform so let's look at 2019 instead. You know, the year GWS made a GF in which Taranto was clearly their bog. So 2019 in a struggling midfield Heeney is still in his 5th year playing predominantly as a forward who can pinch hit averaging 20 touches and just over a goal a game, 2/3 of his disposals are still handballs despite his position. Taranto in his 2nd year breaks into the most talented midfield in the league and in his 3rd year becomes arguably its best player, 27 disposals a game, .5 goals a game, 7.5 tackles a game, 6 clearances a game, more contested ball by a league, more kicks and all at a higher DE than Heeney who was getting a comfy ride as a 3rd tall forward. Heeney is talented no question but he's not comparable to Taranto at all. Taranto is a league above his entire age bracket and having one bad injury riddled season doesn't change that.
Only had to read one line and yes you don't follow the game. I don't care what dribble you spout out, Heeney is a gun footballer while Taranto has struggled this year in a stacked midfield.
