If it's between those two yes i will take Trealor without blinking. Thing is to land Trealor you will be paying a premium so it's a moot point as he's not worth it.

I would rather we go left field and go after someone like Ben Keays from Adelaide who has shown quite a bit this year. Will only cost a third rounder, maybe a second and has enough upside to become a quality player. Finished fifth in Adelaides B&F just behind Matt Crouch.

If we are going all in, i don't want to see another Hannebury / Hill type scenario where WE lose, they would want to be dam good like a Clayton Oliver.

If Treloar is Collingwood doing a salary dump as has been said why would he cost us heaps? Surely it is a future second rounder (EDIT: + a defender of some form?)

I’ve been told by an extremely reliable source at Collingwood that you guys literally have a handshake agreement with Collingwood for a trade for Trealor. They’re desperate to clear up salary cap space to target a tall forward. Also, you guys are also going hard at De Goey. And have made an offer he’s weighing up which is a hell of a lot more than what Collingwood have offered. North and Essendon have also made offers but he wants to play finals.

Will keep you updated when I hear anything else.

Heeney has two tricks we need.

Fit, he's a great natural endurance runner and has a big engine. He's also big, if not a midfield beast, and aggressive.

Kicking is stodgy. Probably Heppell quality.

He'd be Clark who is an AFL standard kick.

I doubt we cut into the best 22 to the extent we could convince him to come over. On one view he's just waiting out Hanner.

He has the speed and is a good kick for goal, but goes missing for long periods in matches or my liking. Also a bit timid with his attack on the ball.
