DMAC is the one player that the fact he didn’t play a game this year actually boosts his chances of getting to another club.

It's hard to say this without sounding harsh, but I'd be surprised if any club was interested in McKenzie. With his kicking and limited ability to win the footy, the only roles he can play are the primary small shut down down defender, or maybe a tagging role. I doubt any club is going to trade in a player to occupy either of those roles.

That's the point of FA, the players who has been at the club for 8 years has done his service and is after maximum return for his last contract so the club gets compensation and the new clubs get compensation by not having to trade to offer him the money he is after otherwise he just stay at the club if they match. That's the point of FA.
