Did I read somewhere on here that we might get Heeney from the Swans or was that just wishful thinking by someone?

It's just an on going joke.Did I read somewhere on here that we might get Heeney from the Swans or was that just wishful thinking by someone?

Sounds like our cap is starting to get tight though.I wouldn’t trade Dunstan , Webster , Dmac , Savage or Robbo . First of all I don’t think we would get much for them anyway . But they are also back up if we have one of those years with injuries.
As an example , say Wilkie does his ankle , Paton gets concussed , and Coffield has a long term knee problem. At least we still have some decent defenders to bring in .
Same with Dunstan in the midfield, you just never know how good or bad injuries will be .

If that's the case and we want to bring more in this trade period, we can't afford to be paying decent contracts to blokes that likely won't be best 22.

Just goes to prove that neither the Saints nor the Crows boards have a monopoly on dreamers - I'm sure there's a couple on every board, only the names change.Thought it was a madhouse in here. Treloar main thread has dogs supporters suggesting that they get three first round draft picks and Treloar for Dunkley and a future second. Delusional
Hearing the same whispers BT.Did I read somewhere on here that we might get Heeney from the Swans or was that just wishful thinking by someone?

I suspect the deal is 'I'm staying unless you pay me to play for the Saints'. Lethlean whistling to himself in the background.Treloar may have a decision to make if the suggestion that he wants us is true. Either play for his preferred club and sacrifice $s on a restructured deal or go elsewhere and keep the $s (which he is 100% entitled to do, particularly with a young family)
Interesting watch
They aren't the problem within themselves. It's the coin they're on..I wouldn’t trade Dunstan , Webster , Dmac , Savage or Robbo . First of all I don’t think we would get much for them anyway . But they are also back up if we have one of those years with injuries.

Narkle went at pick 60 and imo that was about right.
Phillips gets a bagging by some but I agree with you he‘s a player I’m happy to keep. My point on narkle was really more about how highlights from a players best game are often deceptive.
Reports suggest the Dogs have gone cold on Lonie, which means he will probably stay. And with it looking unlikely that Higgins will leave Richmond, that's a decent result keeping Lonie.Any word on lonie/hind?
If we are involved in anymore trades I will be surprised. It seems to have gone really quiet on the Saints involvment in trades for this year. Although I was surprised with the amount of trades we did last year, and most were made public at the finish of trade week.
Reports suggest Carlisle is going to stay now.Carlisle is not signed so we would have to be in talks with ??? about grabbing a KPD at the very least.
I genuinely wouldn’t know mate. Wouldn’t want to make it up.So if we offload a player does his offer increase?
We have probably kept some of them too long, and they are past their useby date.I genuinely wouldn’t know mate. Wouldn’t want to make it up.
If I was to guess, it’s that no one wants our dead wood
We have probably kept some of them too long, and they are past their useby date.
Looking at the picks Essendon have right now, we would probably only get pick 67 for him anyway so we wouldnt be losing much.If we delist Hind we will get nothing for him. Why should we help Essendon by delisting him? Only thing we gain is a spot on the list
It may seem that way but they have their shares of lousy picks. He looks okay as the guy who comes in and gets to do the flashy stuff. He looks good doing what he does, a bit like Matty Parker, he's got a bit of up tempo pace about him. He's young enough to take step but not sure if he's another guy who just isn't quite committed enough. Geelong don't make too many trade errors.
Sam Edmund says Higgins wants to move. Saying it is more likely to happen than not. Also Richmond won’t let him go cheap.
I guess we’ll just hang on and hope to get something a bit better, anyway he’ll get to Essendon without any problems.Looking at the picks Essendon have right now, we would probably only get pick 67 for him anyway so we wouldnt be losing much.
