I doubt we will be able to attract Zac Williams in our current state, as much as I’d love to have him. He won’t have a lack of suitors that’s for sure. Carlton, St Kilda, Essendon, Bulldogs, Lions, Swans would be in for him as well.

If it comes down to money we should be able to get Zac Williams

We should be able to offer the most money on the most years. Plus I think someone mentioned he was good mates with a few of our indigenous players which could be a factor

Someone said he was good mates with Jed.

Not many players leave their club just for financial gain, the chance of success and/or go home factor are the main lures.

Williams and Corr

Williams is a no-brainer, but Corr is an odd choice considering we picked up Walker, have Tazz & B-Mac and there's talk of grabbing a KPD with a 1st round pick.

Perhaps if we picked up Corr we would go with 2 x mids with our 1st round picks.

Corr is very capable on the mid sized types as well.

Having Corr and McKay could release Tazz to play a more attacking/setup role like Thommo played in his twilight years.

I honestly don't think we expected Walker to be as good as he has been.

Since Crouch lost his speed due to multiple hamstring injuries he has turned into a plodder. He really has no point of difference and isn't THAT good at winning clearances.

63.4% DE
2.5 Score Involvements
244 metres gained

Just another C to B Grader that WILL NOT improve us at all.

.
I reckon you’ve nailed it. Corr is exceptionally quick. And his sisters remind me of a more virtuous and simpler time.

He and his brother fail the eye test aswell.

Do you reckon? I think Heater would be pretty committed to the Giants and trying to look after them rather than the opposition.

absolutely for this year. After that he’s done and I can see him as a development role with us next yearb

From what I have seen of corr he is a very accountable no nonsense kpd who keeps it simple.... pretty good foot skills even kicks out a lot of the times and also accumulates.... there is no doubt heath has recommended him given they are the two workhorses back there

Now that would be some top-level list management - Williams, Corr, and Crouch as Free Agents alongside two 1st round draft picks. "Rebuild" complete.

See we don't need a total rebuild get in the 5 or 6 players like sts did... 2 or 3 free agents and then couple first rders and maybe a second, get rid of ten or so dead wood more if lists are reduced and away we go
