Those 4 would make us an instantly better team in regards to skill, run and line breaking ability. They are all in the age bracket where we severely lack leadership and depth too. Going after Witherden and Saad would also give us so much more freedom with McDonald.

Then target 2 x midfielders with our two first round picks. Phillips and whoever is next best available

The only thing I see missing from that side is a quality genuine small crumbing forward

Yep I like but think only need two out of the three hbs.... I see you have Williams on the wing.... I prefer his run from hb and some midfield time but inside on the ball rather than wing.... and yes small fwd is final big piece

Outside of Saad, two that suit our needs and have been in and out of their sides all year are Alex Witherden and Riley Bonner.

I've been told Witherden is going to the Dees, but I'd still be having a crack. Bonner wouldn't cost as much although he's under contract, but he could be the kicker we need off half back.

Not a massive obstacle. GWS have shown a propensity to clear players off their books for next to nothing. Aherm, Bonar, Scully, Patton...
