So looks like at the first pick we mat have choice of cook, Chapman, cox, Perkins and bruhn.
I’m not sure who is pick out of Perkins, cox or cook.
Perkins seems best but not a high possession player. Cook I like, but is he athletic enough or a Josh battle type. Cox wants to play defence and seems to not want the responsibility of being a forward which is a big turn off.
I’ve also noticed Eddie Ford is now way out to in the 50’s. I’d be happy with him at pick 32, but they might not want to get 2 medium forwards if we go with Perkins or cook.

Don't draft him - huge red flag for mental weakness (obviously not the only thing it might be).
Might explain why Twomey has him sliding too. I'd be almost as put off as a Vic club.

seriously between NGAs, academies and father sons, the draft becomes untenable if Vic kid's can just demand to stay home, Bailey Smith has set a s**t precedent.

The AFL will just ignore it, but this is about as close to draft tampering as you can get. Especially when you've got Adelaide, GWS, Freo with picks 9,10,12,13,15,20,22,23,26. I really hope he ends up at Adelaide or GWS.

This is draft tampering, and if the AFL is serious about a national competition, they should pull him out of this years draft.. an example needs to set and a line drawn in the sand!

I agree with the sentiment, he’s chosen Richmond but I’m sure we can make it work for him over here, it’s just that I don’t think he’s quite rated that highly. But I could be wrong.

But to be fair, he might miss out on his half time breast feed without mummy around.
I guarantee you if DGB and McDonald said this, the AFL would make them go to any club and tell them that it is a national comp and you get what you are given.
