and pleasingly of those players, the only one who we've invested any significant number of games likely to get cut this season is Banfield, everyone else has played a handful at most (jones, giro) or looks like they've got potential to be part of the side for years to come. (side note don't remember strandica getting a game?)
Mah bad, thought he did, I've checked and your right, he didnt. I've updated

Has anyone stopped to look at the hit rate at the draft since 2016, at the moment, its some pretty impressive looking drafting, though I suppose things always look best the year or two after a draft.

I like Frederick, and have so from the moment I watched the highlights package when he was drafted. Even so, I'm not yet ready to declare him AA potential.

Haha, until proven otherwise I'll live that dream, that one is definitely being a bit optimistic, but, he's got all the traits

I agree with everything but I am willing. Has AA all over him.

I reckon he has such a high ceiling, he could be anything. You look at all our recent draftees like Brayshaw, Cerra, Crowden etc and how much they have improved from their debut year. Frederick is already after 6 games making opposition defenders poo their pants when they see him running towards them - imagine how he'll be after a couple more pre-seasons with a bigger tank and body, better skills, and a much better understanding of positioning and game plan? Yikes

From memory he also played some midfield/wing time before getting drafted so there's an exciting possibility there too

The goal he kicked last weekend was outstanding. There's a lot to like about him.

Fairly sure he was a winger/half forward last year. Imagine thats where we will want him long term.

The thing I've found most puzzling about him is in that highlights package, every single kick, whether spinning way from a tackle, weaving through traffic, kicking across his body after a change in direction — every single one — was bang on target or perfectly placed into space, yet he's shanked a fair few, even unpressured, in the games he's played so far. I get that highlights packages by definition show the good stuff, and AFL is a very different game to SANFL, but I'm still waiting for his kicking skills to shine through. If/when they do, look out!

Western and Walker quiet to half time, Carrol had 14 and 2 goals though
Which Walker are you talking about, Brandon has been great.

Chris came down hard in a contest but got up, kicked a nice goal early but has been abit fumbly.

I was too cheap to buy a sub, going off stats. Good to hear on Brandon

While your watching this game eDPS, is Alvarez from Claremont draftable and is Hagen a top 10 talent in a couple of years?
Alvarez moves well and can find the footy but is pretty small and skills can be a bit poor at times. Hagan is a skilful little player but he is fairly short at the moment, hopefully develops into a Will Phillips type in time but hard to have him top 10 at this stage, I’ve seen better prospects play for SA and Vic.
