ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reports the 49ers are still undecided on what they will do with the No. 3 pick.
It wasn't long ago that Alabama's Mac Jones was locked in as the 49ers' choice. That may well be the case in San Francisco but such news hasn't reached the NFL media yet. Fowler added that many teams in the top-10 have been pleased with the virtual interviews given by Ohio State QB Justin Fields. Fields was hit with some spurious "work ethic" rumors recently but teams appear to be seeing past those claims. Fowler even added that North Dakota State QB Trey Lance will have a chance to become the No. 3 pick with a strong performance at his second Pro Day. The 49ers likely traded up to the third overall pick with a player in mind but are doing their due diligence on all possible options. Fields has moved ahead of Jones as the favorite in most betting markets.

NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reports the Falcons will attend North Dakota State QB Trey Lance's second Pro Day and are "thoroughly evaluating" their options at No. 4.
The Falcons will send the same trio of non-coordinator-level coaches that they sent to Ohio State QB Justin Field's second Pro Day. Their coordinators and HC Arthur Smith attended both passers' initial Pro Days. Matt Ryan's contract almost certainly keeps him in Atlanta for two more seasons. If the Falcons do take a quarterback, he will likely be tasked with holding a clipboard for a season or more. Because of that, a trade back would be ideal for Atlanta. They are in a spot to get one of the final top-tier passers and that should hold a tremendous amount of value for another franchise. If they can't find a trade partner, expect to see TE Kyle Pitts or WR Jamar Chase come off the board at No. 4.

The Niners join the list of dumpster fires if they genuinely don't know.

The Niners, who have the third pick in the upcoming NFL Draft, created a workout for Lance "and will have a hand in administering it," Graziano reports. Lance has reportedly worked closely this month with QB coach John Beck, who played under Kyle Shanahan when Shanahan was Washington's offensive coordinator. The 49ers gave Beck a list of drills for Lance's second pro day -- a strong indication that the team has not shut the door on taking the North Dakota State quarterback with the draft's third pick. Of course, this could be part of an elaborate smoke screen created by a team that has been linked to Lance, Mac Jones, and Justin Fields.

Washington Football Team officials won't attend Trey Lance's pro day.
ESPN's John Keim said he "would not read anything into their absence" after Washington officials attended Lance's first pro day workout. Football Team general manager Martin Mayhew all but admitted last week that the organization was out on Lance, who has 16 games of college experience. "Anytime you see guys with limited time on the job, that is a concern for me with the quarterback position," Mayhew said. Washington, with the draft's 19th pick, would have to move into the top-four picks to ensure a shot at Lance; that doesn't seem likely. Ryan Fitzpatrick and Taylor Heinicke will probably battle it out for the team's Week 1 starting job.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports the Dolphins are "considering" trading the No. 6 overall pick.
It's not news that the Dolphins have "received calls from teams looking to trade up to No. 6" — one of the 'Big Five' quarterbacks were always expected to fall there since the Bengals filled that need last year. But Miami weighing whether to move back (again) for multiple picks would obviously shake up the draft in a variety of ways. The Broncos, Patriots, and Bears are all teams that could try and jostle their positions to secure a first-round talent under center at No. 6.
