Yeah what's the go there?

With my prediction or their situation? As I mentioned a few months back, I don't think their new owners actually have the cash you and others made out that they did. Haven't made a single signing.

Have they lost anyone of note?

This warms my heart, that everything that City have become since being taken over, yet you still hate us more.

Exactly the way it should be.

Would be funny tho.

100m + Laporte for Kane and Vlahovic./Lautaro signed would see Spurs a chance of challenging for the title.
£100m plus a £60--70m rated player?

I would hope someone buys us a meal first.

Transfermarkt has his market value listed as 45m

It is no secret that he wants out. Spurs on the other hand have no interest in selling Kane so 100m + Laporte is entirely reasonable to ask for in exchange for Harry Kane. It's what I would be negotiating for if I were D.Levy.

Problem with the steak knives will be wages. I'd love to get our hands on Laporte. But he is on probably 120-150k a week which would put him as our top earner and could mean we give out payrises to Son and Lloris and I doubt Levy wants that.

If we somehow manage to cap his wage below the top earners with City covering the cost then it could gain some real momentum from Levy. Could be a Treloar style you pick up the tab arrangement with Spurs paying him 100k a week and City the rest. If they want Kane that badly I'd be leaning towards that than straight shooting them down or asking for over 150m.

Transfermarkt also has Harry Kane valued at £120m.

Thats about spot on for Kanes value IMO. Spurs have no intention of selling him though and want to retain him. So it will take an offer far above his true value for them to let him go.

Whereas with you guys Pep has piblically said that he will be open to players leaving that want out.

£100m + Laporte would be a win for everyone (of Laporte can be convinced to join Spurs) and its not like you cant afford it.

Didn"t Son just ink a 190k / week new contract recently? Im sure Levy would find a way to fit Laporte in if he was open to it. 150k wages sounds inline with the top players for you guys which he would be one of.
