2021/22 Melbourne Victory Thread - 2021 FFA Cup Champions!!

OK time for a new thread now that we officially have a start date for the season and a fixture release (all be it only the first six rounds). This will still be a Covid effected season so expect matches in empty stadiums, fixture rescheduling and possibly season suspensions. Another fun ride ahead of us.

As for Victory its a whole new era the Popovic era, new look squad, new look club. Can Popovic bring fame and fortune back to the Victory? In any case anything other than the past two years of dogshit will be an improvement! We have recruited pretty well so far through so looking forward to us shooting up the ladder pretty quick. What are everyone's expectations for this up coming season?

5 in 31 games in Serie B suggests probably not. But if he isn't too expensive and willing to come then why not I guess. Means we'd have serious depth in the team. Can field a competitive second XI as per above.
