Do we trade up using picks 31 and 39 to get someone we really want?
Richmond and Geelong both have 3 picks each in front of us. They can take players in most positions.
Who are we after?

Would be nice to get in front of Richmond.

I'm not sure how. If I were any of the clubs with a run of picks I'd keep them.

Didn't do anything at the Cats by the look, but grew into it playing in WAFL.
Worth the speckie pick given he's a unit @ 199 cm? Anyone in WA see him play?
(Hopefully Geelong saving him till rookie and we steal him at 62)

According to Lore's spreadsheet. It looks like we have actually got picks 33 and 39. Which means the 13th and 19th pick of the night.

(For some reason, I thought we had pick 32, but it seems Geelong have 3 picks before us)
 
FWIW Richmond and West Coast are keen on Dittmar and they've got a lazy five selections combined before the selection we would use on him if keen (our pick 39.) So doubtful he gets to us, and maybe after drafting Sheldrick, doubtful our interest is still there anyway.

Hoping we get Bazzo & Dean.

If Sonsie or Taylor are - somehow - still there at our pick 33 and we end up with one of them, I will, apologies for the vulgarity, straight-up cream my jeans.

If we get Dittmar now I'd be disappointed. Bazzo and Warner, Taylor and Dean/other KPD are possible combos I'd be happy with, but unlikely.

I am still keen on Jack 'Basher' Williams for the romance of it all. Fwiw, the kid can play fwd, back and ruck.

Can I just say now that some late contract extensions the Club made totally stink. No wonder we kept Clarke quiet for example. As for the Clubs rationale on extending Sam Reid, this remains a mystery. Apparently he can now play down back. This is a proposition ranking with JPK playing FB. Can you imagine?

A ready made KPD and developing one will be ideal for the list. Anything else is a bonus though. With a bit of luck we can use 62 on one, and rookie the kid from Coffs, but got a feeling someone will spend a higher pick on him.

I enjoy Nat Edwards & Cal Twomey's banter and would prefer their hyperbole-free style applied to other aspects of footy beyond just the draft.

Edwards just consistently roasting Twomey and Twomey just feebly taking it because he's such an awkward geek is my kinda vibe.

Yep, I'm keen on Schlensog. Probably prefer him to Bazzo (or Dean).

Assuming we don't need to match a bid for Anderson and can take him as a rookie, I'd also be interested in taking Voss with our last pick.
