This plus they are the form side in the comp. The other outsider I like is Geelong. Honestly this round has upsets written all over it. Dogs and Essendon scream one but you would assume that Martin plays and the Dogs do enough over a side that is happy to make the 8.

Jus not sure on the Dogs. If Martin doesn't play I'll be on Essendon with the start especially if it goes out to 11.5 or 12 points. Draper will belt English or whoever else they pick there. They HAVE to pick Martin. Pick a sub that can replace him if need be.

not sure about the daylight between dogs/ess and syd vs gws.... Dogs are out of form and it's hard just to rediscover form,I remember this from early 2000's around 2004 when the dees were the leading team all year until about the same time as dogs (round 18) and our new exciting spark plug Aaron Davey badly did his hamstring we really lost our mojo... we never got back to that form and lost in the elimination to funnily enough.. Essendon.. id also be saying GWS with their hardened bodies are basically equal as Sydney at the moment.... definately not daylight

My point is almost all teams have been mailing it in intra game at some stage with plenty on the line for the last 4-6 weeks - I don't expect that to suddenly change because they are finals.

They will be playing against the 8th team...the point is there is a big gap between the top 6 and the 8th best team this year.
