so who knows what brisbane are going to do with no mcstay, berry played a lot of forward time last week with mcstay out, didnt kick a goal (but melbourne defence is tough and brisbane didnt play well) he kicked 3.1 the week before that vs west coast at the gabba. Betting on him early in case he does play up front again this week, but beware who knows what the lions will do. But at these odds and kicking 3.1 two weeks ago i'm going to have a punt.

Both seasons where we had a pre-finals bye FWIW.

Not saying that has any great importance, just something to consider. Possibly the way the Cats recover with older players through the bye they come back a bit slower. More concerning this season in a continuous fashion. Way down on momentum.

I think the most concerning thing for the cats at the moment as well is there defence. Gave up a bunch of very easy goals against Port, their defenders often looked at sea. Giants forward line is operating well with speed and efficiency in front of goals. We've seen them win without Toby a few weeks ago.

I think the line might keep drifting, so I'll wait before having a bet. But probably will take the Giants line. Struggle to see Geelong shutting them down, will need to open it up and turn it into a shoot out.

forward, he's definately capable of that strong contest and elite pressure, Kicked 4 goals vs GWS earlier in year and 2 against the suns a few weeks ago but not much else, ive taken a stab at AGS neds 3.95 incase he does play more forward, and $13 pointsbet for two is all i can find, if anyone has faith in Fullerton he's 3.00 AGS neds.. didn't show much vs Dees but 3.00 for someone parked permanently forward is always ok

Normally Id be chips in on those sort of odds but Fullarton has kicked 2 goals in 11 games playing that role, probably one to pass on.

Have to take the Taranto express this week. Last time Toby Greene missed he was given Greene's role and kicked 4. Cameron could mix things up but you'll kick yourself if he plays full time forward again and you're not on.

Dont mind this, go back to 2019 when he actually played regularly as a forward and he kicked 2 or more 7/14 games and hit 4 of the last 5 matches when he got some form going.

Really need to see the final teams though, if Brisbane bring in the 3rd tall and Stef is declared fit where does that leave Schache?
