I think the fact he was taken at pick 28 would mean he is quite literally not top 10 talent as it presently stands. Very hard to argue otherwise until he is out there playing.

Found my answer:

Long is a tough player to rate as he has plenty of AFL level traits with his endurance, size and smarts. His scope for development is slimmer and there are queries on his speed and kicking, along with the injury concern this year which could see him go later than his form would suggest. A team that needs more depth for taller midfielders could do with a player like Long and with his frame and endurance, he could still feature playing AFL games in 2022. A full year potentially playing Under 19s again or even a full-time VFL run could do his game wonders if he doesn’t get picked up.

Need 2x outside midfielders IMO. We've got like 40x guys that can play inside, now need guys they can get the ball out to.

Agree with that also think we need access to a high quality forward. Kosi, Lewis and co developing and serviceable but we need a kid who can tear a game apart.
