Let’s stick with a basic rule for this thread, that it’s for draft watch and discussion only.

It’s not for trade hypotheticals, who you think needs to be delisted or traded, how many games you think we will win, some other team will win, how many picks you want in the 1st round or discussion of current HFC players.

It’s about youngsters who are eligible for the draft in 2021.

Having those players to select from at each pick is the dream - being the poor bugger having to make the decision is a bit of a nightmare!

And that's without guys like Knevitt or Goater that may slide...

Can’t see either sliding, but who knows.

Who’s the bolter going to be? I reckon Johnson, Taylor or Knevitt to jump up higher than people predicted.

I really rate Johnson - he's definitely one of the 15 guys in my Top 10...

Curious about the thoughts of this boards' draft enthusiasts, and those who watched him in the champs and grand final day exhibition, on Arthur Jones.

I saw him as very very raw physically and with game sense also. His contested side in the champs game was horrible and in the exhibition he had a dip but was still undersized.

I think he is also a super intriguing prospect. He has electric speed and awesome game agility. Kicking skills are mostly good but a bit inconsistent. He really plays like a Brad Hill clone for mine and similar to lachie bramble but more a forward.

I watched him matched up on NWM and I would argue he had the slightly better game. NWM carved it open with his kicking but Jones' speed and line breaking was a massive x-factor also.

I just wonder with recruiters these days loving high impact players with big scope at AFL level. Kid also ran a 6:30 2km so has a solid endurance base to go with the speed.

The question I have, is how high people think a bloke like this could climb draft day?
In my own opinion, I see him as a very very very Richmond player and don't think he gets through their second rounders.

This is higher than what most probably have him but curious what others reckon?

I was quite impressed with Jones. He had a very good patch in the 4th quarter of the game that I saw at Thebby, which lead to a goal. I was under the impression that he was tied to Fremantle in some way.

I am pretty sure they screwed up and didn't sign him up. Similar to Jahmal Stretch who is another exciting forward option.

The video on AFL.com today had far more flattering and dynamic highlights for Rachelle than some of the more mundane work we saw on the official highlights tape.

I'd love that.
Not so keen on Chesser but the other options are exactly what we need.
There's no way we can get Wanganeen-Milera, but his kicking is something special.
If we get Sinn then I will be satisfied on that front.

Yeah gotta agree about Chesser. Taylor/Sonsie definitely in front of him for me
