Don't mind Collingwood at 2.73. Always seem to beat the crows in Adelaide and Jamie elliot coming back who I'll probably get on for goals too kicked a bag of 5 there once and a couple in other games
Missing grundy and Adams is huge. Not to mention the pies can not score, Adelaide play a free flowing and open game. Totally different style of play. Will be interesting

if you like the pies, then 1-39 is not bad either @3.20. my crows +36.5 line bet came through vs richmond in r11, & i would think crows could fight again to keep it under 40 at worst v pies.

personally, (altho im bias) i think crows can win with no grundy and no adams. i will wait though for other byo lines to come out to maybe grab a few various alternatives.

Oh yeah forgot about grundy thats a big out. Still might give em a go. Does that mean big mason comes in?

So still NO OFFICIAL WORD on the actual fixture for this week and where they will play. It's Tuesday ffs. The AFL
is pulling the chain. If you ask me its unacceptable not just for fans but for the clubs themselves.

It’s just been confirmed I think
Saints at the scg, I’ll take cash or bank transfer for that 10k!

Players don't want to go into hubs again like last year. Feel like the season, as Jeff Kennett mentioned today faces huge obstacles and logistics problems if teams aren't willing to sacrifice about as half as much as last year.

Don't blame them personally as its out of their control but there is a good chance now this season could get postponed with the border closures, government restrictions etc

Another thing is the costs of moving teams around, it gets to a stage where it isn't feasible for eg to send the Bulldogs from Melbourne to Sydney en route to Perth. Hubs as I have been reading are expensive especially when your are doing with players, coaching staff, medicals, etc. I don't have the numbers on me but its added cost and less revenue from gate takings.

The players can just take a massive dose of concrete then. Hubs will happen if required.

There is zero chance the season is postponed - laughable suggestion.

The Carlton Football Club from what I saw last week are staying at the Sofitel in Darling Harbour , that hotel alone is around $250 per person for a night. Assuming playing and coaching staff of around 50 people . If you stay there for two weeks alone, your looking At costs of at least $175,000 . This is just accomodation fees alone. Then you have airfares , taxis, transportation costs , food etc I’m not sold on the numbers and whether it’s profitable to run a business such as this. Either way one thing is clear the AFL are running a business model which is really thin on profit margins at the moment .

There will be way more players saying no to hubs this time around. They did it once already, pathetic theyd need to a second time.

The season will go ahead but it wont mean anything again, especially if more players opt out

People massively over estimate the impact of 1 or 2 players missing a game - there's 18 men on the field at any point in time - its not basketball.

Gaff-Redden-Sheed-Yeo - yeah a truly pathetic midfield right there without Kelly.

I'd normally agree to an extent but this isn't the West Coast of 2018-2019 - they've just dropped a game to Essendon (also a "top half of the bottom 10" side) at home.

Also depends on how you rank the Eagles side but fair argument to say 4 of their top 11 are missing and another (Yeo) is nowhere near his best, plus Duggan is the next man up type for the likes of Yeo or Shuey.

Carlton being Carlton means yep fair point, perhaps Kelly and Allen aren't the difference, but I can't see how a team who struggles to win away and has a host of injuries is somehow an anti-hypelord bet.

The away stat is negated by the fact that the other side is also playing away. So there is no HGA and the Eagles are the better side by panels
