At first glance I think port line is too low, but they have only played away 5 times this season for 3-2, their wins are 52 against north at the start of the season, 28 against Carlton and 1 against pies. At home they win this by 50, away I'm not sure how much I can trust them

Port beat sides that aren't any good. By doing this Port have hoodwinked an entire country into thinking theyre good despite choking every time they play someone good

That said, theyll thump GCS. Dew himself could get a game for that clownshow atm and his heart rate rises when he eats let alone moves.

Gold Coast were terrible this weekend. I think the players are starting to lose it with Dew. Think its a culture thing too. They were outplayed by a team with a number of second stringers.

If Gold Coast finish bottom 4 with that list, serious questions will have to be asked. And I wouldn't be surprised if Dew is on the chopping block...

On a serious note, I reckon their team has issues. If you have an assistant coach, I mean an assistant coach that wants to relocate back home, what does that tell for the mindset of the current young crop there?

Always start campaigns well then capitulate mid season. Don't think the current players have respect for Dew. Once you get on the wrong side of Stuart Dew, you have to earn or win that respect - and it can be a long time. Fremantle win on the weekend was a not a great victory for them, it was more Gold Coast were a train wreck. Given Port smashed Freo by 47 pts, Freo beat Gold Coast by 27 pts........Port could win by any margin they want to on the weekend. It could be slaughter to the lambs.

Add to the fact that Stuart Dew has been given time, questions will be asked how much more time will be given? It would be a disaster result for the Suns if they get a Bottom 4 finish. I also don't see at the moment if they were to say get a Top 2 pick this year, how they could improve. Their mature players as correctly mentioned on Footy Classified last night, are overpaid. (They made mention of Weller, Ben King, Jarrod Witts, Brandon Ellis and Rory Atkins). They are on Big money and are B-Grade footballers. They need an experienced coach to change things there.Stuart Dew is coaching like he is a dead man walking. Tactically, not good enough.

They have a horror run home: Port Adelaide, North Melbourne (Tasmania), Richmond, GWS , Bulldogs, Melbourne, Brisbane, Carlton (Away), Essendon, Sydney (SCG)

They will be lucky to get 2 wins.

TAB odds are out early

Port to beat Gold Coast by 16+ pts= $1.72
Port to beat Gold Coast by 20+ pts= $1.90
Port to beat Gold Coast by 25+ pts= $2.10
Port to beat Gold Coast by 60+ pts= $7.50
Port to beat Gold Coast by 73+ pts= $13
Port to beat Gold Coast by 100+ pts= $51

Port Adelaide will want to win and win well, as their percentage at the moment is behind those clubs in the Top 4. A 100 + pt win, gets them in the conversation in terms of percentage with those teams. And it could be the difference this year between finishing 4th and 5th.

I dont trust Port in the slightest away from AO, will be staying away from that one.
If it was at night away from Adelaide, I too would be on your boat.

But its a day game, Port belted them on their home patch earlier last year............Something isn't quite right at the Suns at the moment.

Suns best chance of a win is to keep it scrappy, tight and low scoring.
