Eagles have brought in hutchings and steele is the only bloke we have worth tagging.
2.5u - Williams 20+ disposals - $2.05 - TopSport
Was tracking really well last week until he ended getting banged up throughout the second quarter. Seemed as though he didn’t fully recover. TOG was way down to what it would normally be at. Expect a bounce back.
2.5u - Rory Atkins 15+ disposals - $1.68 - Ladbrokes
0.5u - Rory Atkins 20+ disposals - $4.25 - 365
0.25u - Rory Atkins 25+ disposals - $18 - 365
Situational bet. At the crows it wasn’t uncommon for Atkins to eclipse 20 and 25+ disposals at multiple points throughout the season. At Gold Coast he has only cleared 15+ once in his 5 games. Things weren’t smooth for him getting an injury in pre season and then having to work his way into the side, but with Ellis and Weller out, it looks as though he is finally getting a crack at his favoured wing position. Expect a decent showing today from him today.
2.5u - Hurn 25+ disposals - $2 - TopSport
Match set up well for Hurn who thrives off playing as the free man and racking up disposals as the spare man down back. Last week we saw McKenzie has a season high 22 disposals, whilst him and Aliir Aliir both recorded a game high 9 intercept possessions each. These sorts of situations haven’t been uncommon for teams against the Saints throughout the year. Hurn takes majority of the kick ins for the Eagle and if the Saints get the yips in front of goal like they have many times over the last couple years, he’ll get plenty of free disposals. 7/12 with 3 24 disposals games.
2u - Hill 25+ disposals - $2.37 - SB
The Perth local has thrives in his new half back role clearing 25 in his last 3. Besides a few costly errors late in the game last week, he was one of their best players on ground. Should be up for a big night at the open expanses of Optus.
2.5u - Elliot Yeo over 21.5 disposals - $1.98 - SB
No excuses for Yeo today, 8th game back now, should be firing on all cylinders. Shuey drops out of the side which means he has to start shouldering some of the load. Was West Coasts leading CBA player last week. Averaged over this number from 2017-2019.
1u - Gawn AGS - $2.65 - Ladbrokes
Will drift forward to create a mismatch on the undersized Bulldogs defence. Kicked 1.1 last time out.
4u - Macrae over 31.5 disposals - $1.87 - 365
Unreal numbers from this bloke the last few seasons. Looking at 2019 and 2021 (2020 excluded as shortened quarters), Macrae has gone over this total in a massive 70% of his games. Big % play on this one.
2u - Sholl 20+ disposals - $2.25 - 365
Sholl started this season off with a bang and still looks as one of the crows most exciting young talents, he’s just suffered a bit of a mid season drop off in form which is common especially in young players at unsuccessful clubs. On the season he has still cleared this in 8/15 full length games and has an average of 20 disposals across those games. Decent match up for him on the quick deck of Marvel.

Line is at the absolute top for him, has only gone over in 5/17 making this a cracking % play. Should be tough for him to rack up against the lions

Ripper price for Joey who is playing much closer to goals now. Suns small defence often vulnerable. Throwing in McStay who will be needed to step up now in the absence of Hipwood.

Bookies still giving us a low total for Gaff. During rounds 5-13 the bloke averaged over 32 a game. Although Shuey is missing he’s got some of his muscle in Yeo back on the inside which makes his job easier and allows him to rack it up on the outside. Is the link up man for the eagle and his uncontested possessions is what really make them work other teams over. Typically thrives off playing at Optus, one of the best accumulators in the comp on his day.
