The rules change at Origin time. This isn't anything new, but it makes the crackdown look like a joke.
Yep, tackle a player and because your hand bounces off the ball and brushes them on the face you get sin binned and suspended.

Deliberately kick a player, no matter if you barely made contact, you get a fine only.

No one can say incidental head contact is worse than kicking.

It doesn't help when people on Fox league have double standards too.

Queensland couldnt possibly be that bad again could they?

Munster will be better for the run, Papalii and Welch will be back, Ponga too (maybe).

Think id prefer we start Brimson at FB if Ponga hasnt played in a while.

Im a dyed in the wool Maroon and if we get beaten by a better side so be it but game 1 was insipid.

Cowboys are hardly reflective of playing against an origin level team.
No doubt. And now Gagai has a good hitout against a weak Broncos, similar to DCE last weekend.

Tallis said that's important after a loss, so the player feels good about themselves when rejoining origin camp.

The weird thing is, I was absolutely convinced that NSW would win the first game (but still surprised by the margin), but am now more uncertain than ever about the result of Game 2. Which, I suppose, is how it should be.
