To put Mahmudullah batting 8 into context he's Bangladesh's 6th leading run scorer of all time and his batting average of 32.39 is also 6th of all time for Bangladeshis with more than 6 test innings.

And now he's tonned up.

Taskin Ahmed batting average up to 45. Bowling average is 63!!
His batting average is 45?

9th wicket partnership broken after a 191 run stand. The 2nd highest 9th wicket stand in test history after Boucher and Symcox added 195 v Pakistan in 1998.

Good on Mahmudullah. Just kept on batting & batting. However, really impressed with Zimbabwe's new opening duo. Hopefully the Zimbos can keep their heads above water in day 3.

I'm shocked to hear he is 35. Then again he was a kid at the 2007 world cup and that was 14 years ago now!
