Fairly self-explanatory title, people thoughts on what our best 22 is for next season.
I'll kick it off with this for round 1 (assuming Hamling won't be ready)
B: Cox - Logue - Wilson
HB: Young - Pearce - Ryan
C: Aish - Serong - Acres
HF: Walters - Tabs - Sturt
FF: Schultz - Lobb - Mundy
Ruc: Darcy - Fyfe - Brayshaw
Bench: Hughes - SHill- Cerra - Tucker
EMG: Crowden - Conca - Meek - Valente/Blakely

B: Cox - Logue - Wilson
HB: Young - Pearce - Ryan
C: Aish - Serong - Acres
HF: Walters - Tabs - Sturt
FF: Schultz - Fyfe - Lobb

Ruc: Darcy - Cerra - Brayshaw

Bench: Hughes - SHill - Mundy - Tucker

B: Ryan - Hamling - Logue
HB: Young - Pearce - Wilson
C: Aish - Serong - Acres
HF: Walters - Fyfe - Sturt
FF: Schultz - Taberner - Henry

Ruc: Darcy - Cerra - Brayshaw

Bench: Hughes - Cox - Mundy - Frederick
EMG: Crowden, Conca, Valente, Lobb

If Shill finds his way back to some form, swap for Acres. Building some nice depth now, this was actually tricky. Tucker/Hughes unlucky.

Agreed - but who goes out for him?
Probably Hayden Young for Round 1. Even though I think he’ll be a sensational player, he probably has to earn his spot back in the side.

Ryan Hamling Hughes
Wilson Pearce Young

Darcy Serong Cerra
Aish Acres Conca

Walters Fyfe Taberner
Sturt Lobb Schultz

Mundy Brayshaw Logue Tucker

You’d like to think at least one draftee from this year will become B22 by the end of next season..

Ryan, Hamling, Logue
Young, Pearce, Hughes
Cerra, Cripps, Acres
Walters, Taberner, Western
Sturt, Lobb, Serong
R: Darcy, Brayshaw, Fyfe
IC: Hill, Conca, Tucker, Mundy

Surely Clark has Western's spot there?

Freo B22

B: R.Conca, J.Hamling, G.Logue
HB: L.Ryan, A.Pearce, H.Young
C: J.Aish, A.Cerra, D.Tucker
HF: N.Fyfe, M.Taberner, M.Walters
FF: L.Henry, R.Lobb, S.Sturt
FOLL: S.Darcy, A.Brayshaw, C.Serong
INT: D.Mundy, N.Wilson, B.Cox, S.Hill

EMER: L.Schultz, M.Frederick, B.Acres, E.Hughes

Freo 2nds

B: B.Walker, T.Watson, L.Thomas
HB: E.Hughes, T.Duman, C.Blakely
C: B.Acres, L.Valente, B.Bewley
HF: T.Coyler, K.Baldwin, C.Walker
FF: L.Schultz, M.Frederick, S.Switkowski
FOLL: L.Meek, M.Crowden, J.Western

INT: B.Banfield, S.Giro, C.Walker, K.Lane/M.Mallard

This has us taking K.Baldwin with our first pick (Key Forward around pick 12-16), matching bids for B.Walker & J.Western (Selling Hogan) and picking up a extra ruck (WA options are Lane and Mallard) and taking C.Walker as our 2nd Next Gen Rookie

Could be a bit tall, but hoping Cox could play either forward or back, chances are one of our keys will be injured before the start of our campaign anyways, thoughts?

Defenders: Hamling, Pearce, Logue, Ryan, Young , Wilson and Hughes

Ruck: Darcy

Midfielders: Fyfe, Brayshaw, Cerra, Serong, Mundy, Acres, Aish,

Forwards: Cox, Taberner , Lobb*, Sturt, Henry, Walters, Schultz

Unlucky: Conca, Hill , Tucker

Earn it / bring the heat 22

Duman Cox Ryan

Hughes Pearce Wilson

Aish Mundy Acres

Walters Fyfe Crowden

Shultz Tabs Freddie/Switta/Henry ( haven’t decided yet )

Darcy Brayshaw Serong

Logue Conca Tucker Young

Cerra + 1st = McDonald / Tillthorpe ( * it Cerra’s overrated IMO )

Lobb can come back when he’s 90% from < 25m out in front and runs in like a normal person

Logue / Cox to give Darcy a chop out Blicavs style and Tabs to be practicing his Tomahawk push out fwd 50 throw-ins over summer

You can all get your wish and piss Duman off when he stops getting better every year

Not related to 2021 per say but ended up simming to the 2022 season is Evo 2 and spent the off-season building the best team for us to push for a flag in the mid 20s, just imagine this team with all the youngsters hitting their straps and becoming guns.

B: Ryan, Hamling, Wilson
HB: Aish, Pearce, Young
C: Clark, Serong, Acres
HF: Sturt, B.King, Darling
FF: Walters, Naughton, Henry
FOL: Darcy, Brayshaw, Fyfe
INT: M.Duncan, Logue, Lobb, Cerra

Have guys like Taberner, Tucker, Frederick, Sharp, Robertson, Stephens, Schultz, Switkowski, Meek as depth. Brought in guys like Duncan and Darling for experience and because they're decent WA players. Righted the wrong of getting Hogan instead of King, actually traded Hogan along with Blakely and Matera for Sharp and King. If this hypothetical team existed in real life, how far do you see it getting with every player fit and firing?
I have no idea what you just said

B: Wilson A.Pearce Hamling
Hb: Ryan Logue Young
C: Tucker Cerra S.Hill
R: Darcy Serong Fyfe/Brayshaw
HF: Fyfe/Brayshaw Tabs Walters

Fyfe starts in the centre square and plays forward after the bounce with Brayshaw doing the opposite.
Inter: Cox, Mundy, Aish, Acres

Who would you take out?
one of the defenders, don’t think you’d want 8 of them in the same 22. Whoever would be left out would be very stiff though
