I think you're right. They have 7 list slots, but only 5 on senior list. And final, official AFL draft order only has them taking 5 picks. So Geelong done (will get 2 picks in Rookie Draft).

In reality, I think they'll try to trade up some of those picks they have and perhaps take as few as 3 picks in the ND.

Not expecting Luca to be drafted and if he does go I dare say it will be very late. But I think there's enough there to pique the interest of recruiters and if he doesn't get picked up I'm keen to track him over the next year to see if and how he develops further.

Owens had a spectacular finish to the season, scoring 3 goals in the intercollegiate grand final for Sacred Heart, and averaging 24 disposals and better than a goal a game in 10 matches for Glenelg U18's, including a monster 39 touches against Sturt.

Have seen a different source which lists him at 190cm, so not sure of his true height. IRL would probably check!

A powerful midfielder who can accumulate touches, and can find the goals himself when he is not providing the link role at half forward.
