at the ground it felt like more than that. I suppose when you haven't seen big crowds in a long time it will feel like more than usual.

I think the crowd were spaced out with lots of gaps within the sections meaning most bays and sections had people sitting in them. Rather than sections being packed and consequently there being lots of unused bays which perceptively makes the crowd smaller than actually was.

A bit disappointing for CA who with their TV partners were touting 70 - 80,000 in the lead up!

40,000+ on days 2 and 3 is a pretty good turn out though. Especially considering day 3 was done in an hour
