Honestly that’s not too bad. More or less the same crowd for the GWS game in Ballarat, which is impressive given Vic is obviously more supportive of AFL than QldSydney V GWS - 2,374

In written English you never answer a question with a question. I'm surprised you didn't know thatLink to show GWS gives out more freebies than anyone.

Please provide the link to back up your claimWell, at least as far as we know, GWS has never completely opened its gates to a home game, as has happened in the A-League and NRL.
Provide the link to back up your claimAs it happens, the Titans did one weekend not too long after GCU had done it.
I think we can say that after last weeks very poor crowd for a giants game and this one it shows the giants are as popular as cancer. Where are their alleged 30.000 plus members?Sydney V GWS - 2,374

And going by some of their home crowds not there eitherProbably not in Ballart or on the Gold Coast at a guess?

North Melbourne only had 3500 against GWS in Hobart too.Probably not in Ballart or on the Gold Coast at a guess?
Where the evidence of opening the gates?Since another poster can recall GCU opening its gates to all for free, I assume you are wanting evidence of the Titans doing it.,
Well here it is.
Titans' financial drama
Gold Coast Titans managing director Michael Searle believes the financially embattled club can do no more to attract fans to Skilled Park following their latest stunt to boost crowd numbers.www.sportingnews.com
So back in 2012, after attracting only 11k to its first home game of the season, the club made a pledge that if they were to lose their next game against the Storm, they would open the gates and allow free entry to all for the next home game.
of course they lost, so they opened their gates for their next home game, which was Canterbury, and that attracted 14k fans.
North Melbourne only had 3500 against GWS in Hobart too.
Where the evidence of opening the gates?
I'm still waiting for the linkYou reckon the CEO reneged?
He didn't, they actually went through with it, widely reported at the time.
This really confirms that GWS despite the BS from AFL house and some posters is a huge black hole for the game. Unload them and bring in a team from TassieNorth Melbourne only had 3500 against GWS in Hobart too.
not too bad at the gabba i would've thought. for a game that was scheduled for next week to be pushed up half way through the week to still have nearly 17k just rock up is amazing. if this happened a few years ago would've been an easy sub 10k16660 at the Gabba
43657 at Perth Stadium
This year like 2020 is a write off for crowds, border closures, last minute changes, floating fixtures etc.not too bad at the gabba i would've thought. for a game that was scheduled for next week to be pushed up half way through the week to still have nearly 17k just rock up is amazing. if this happened a few years ago would've been an easy sub 10k
Yea, I'm not disagreeing with that sentiment at all. Just saying 17k for a last minute fixture change is pretty good in qldThis year like 2020 is a write off for crowds, border closures, last minute changes, floating fixtures etc.
Two ’ok’ crowds.Sydney V Freo - 2,875 (Metricon)
